Red Yeast Rice: rich in monacolin K, it reduces endogenous cholesterol synthesis by inhibiting the initial phases. It also has hypolipidemic properties. The combination with other hypolipidemic agents such as policosanol increases its effectiveness and safety.
Other compounds present in red yeast, such as isoflavones and sterols, act as co-adjuvants due to their hypolipidemic properties and as protectors of the vascular endothelium against oxidative stress.
Gamma oryzanol: derived from rice, Oryza sativa has hypolipidemic properties.
Olive extract (Olea europaea): olive leaf has an antihypertensive effect, while the oil is known for its cholesterol-lowering action, an adjuvant in the treatment of hyperlipidemia.
Red Vine extract (Vitis vinifera): the leaf is rich in polyphenolic derivatives which are used for their positive effect on the chronic treatment of venous insufficiency and its symptoms (swollen legs, varicose veins, feeling of heaviness, pain, fatigue, itching, tension and calf cramps).
